Cookies for Kids' Cancer Overview:

Founded in 2008, the mission of Cookies for Kids' Cancer is to raise funds for research to develop new and less toxic treatments for pediatric cancer, the one number disease killer of children in the U.S. Despite that startling statistic, less than 4% of the National Cancer Institute's budget goes to all childhood cancers combined. We provide inspiration and support for individuals, businesses and organizations to raise funds by hosting grassroots bake sales and other fundraising events.

We do this by creating a targeted funding focus, innovative community engagement and building a strong, diverse community of supporters. Under the direction of the Medical Advisory Board, Cookies for Kids' Cancer's funds are granted to top research hospitals nationwide. Individuals can host grassroots events, run a race or give their birthday to the cause. Corporations can encourage giving through company matches, bake sales and by launching cause-marketing campaigns. Cookies for Kids' Cancer inspires people to work together to change the facts of childhood cancer, one Good Cookie at a time, and is building a worldwide community of supporters.
