Job Summary
Manages the project management office, divisional process improvement, and real estate development projects for Carolinas Healthcare System (CHS). This included governance of the reporting of the most critical divisional projects and programs, as well as governance of the business process improvements and training which increase the efficiency and results of the overall business. This person will also join a highly collaborative team responsible for the disposition, acquisition, and development of real property. In addition to excellent management skills, the ideal candidate will demonstrate an ability to clearly communicate deal terms and changes, both internally within their own team and externally business partners.
Essential Functions
:Responsible for identifying projected land acquisitions, researching market potential, and the overall securing of potential projects for the company.
:Set the Division's Program management processes for divisional level projects.
:Train employees on best practices for driving efficient projects.
:Ensure projects/programs meet objectives, including budget and schedule.
:Works as a key member of an interdisciplinary business team to drive business performance.
:Acquire new properties for development by identifying and researching new properties
:Negotiate LOI and all business terms of a Purchase and Sale agreement
:Provide pertinent property information to peers for development
:Conduct market analysis by accumulating statistical and narrative information on new markets considered for entry
:Manage LOI and development process
Physical Requirements
Perform work under normal office conditions which may include sitting for long periods for time, standing, walking, using repetitive wrist/arm motions frequently, and lifting up to fifteen pounds. Some travel may be required to other departments, facilities or sites in a personal vehicle.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Masters Degree in Business preferred. Minimum of 5 years management experience preferred and 3 years experience in real estate, financial management or project management required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Strong organizational skills, ability to multi:task, and provide attention to details required.
