The AVP Operations Leader/Facilities Management and Plant Operationsprovides leadership, best practices, research, support, training around a specific focus service line/area to drive business, results acrossmarkets.Serves asresource aligning processes, resources, activities for each component across the enterprise.
:Monitors customer satisfaction, assesses customer needs, implements change required to exceed customer expectations.
:Ensures code requirementsconsistently implemented.
:Develops systems to continuously monitor quality, safety, and appropriateness of services provided. Participates with direct reports and other FMG/CHS personnel to assess, plan and implement changes required to achieve optimal outcomes.
:Initiates/develops strategic infrastructure plans for each facility;updatesplan annually in conjunction with facilitys administrator and customers. Plans, implements, and evaluates projects, services, policies, and procedures in order to enhance FMG performance improvement.
:Works cooperatively with other departments and divisions assuring effective communications.
:Facilitates regular and consistent department communication within Leadership Team to exchange information and promote dialogue
:Promotes staff development through performance evaluation, coaching, identifying development goals, arranging educational opportunities that enhance and encourage continued professional growth among staff.
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds shoulder high. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch,finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate for long periods of time. Must be able to respond quickly and appropriately in stressful situations.
Education, Experience, Certifications
Bachelors Degree required. Masters degree is preferred.
8 yearsmanagement experience leading people/teams; minimum 10 yearshealthcare project management experience.
Facilities management/healthcare operations experience
Requires working knowledge of relevant NFPA codes, TJC standards,relevant state and local codes
Prefer Certified Health Facilities Manager, Multi:site facilities management experience, Experience with BMS, CMMS, and automated fire systems;
