The team is responsible for producing accurate and timely regulatory reporting that is driven by data aggregation and calculations. The team is also responsible for providing responses to regulatory inquiries, responding to studies and surveys administered by the agencies, conducting ad-hoc analysis for Basel/Capital initiatives, and participating in regulatory and audit reviews. The Governance & Oversight Manager for Regulatory and Basel Reporting will manage a team responsible for governance and oversight efforts associated with the Report Owner role in the Wells Fargo Governance & Oversight (G&O) Framework. Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to the following: Direct others to implement changes and enhancements specific to Report Owner responsibilities under Wells Fargos G&O Framework Ensure line of sight exists into broader enterprise efforts (Data Provider, Data Owner) related to the G&O Framework as it pertains to data sourcing, capital calculations and reporting Review and make recommendations to continuously improve Regulatory and Basel Reporting desktop procedures, controls and guidance documents Coordinate with all key stakeholders to execute responsibilities Manage significant elements of G&O projects Provide oversight / guidance of testing and monitoring activities as applicable Identify training opportunities and assist in training delivery Manage team members in support of these responsibilities Present analysis to Senior Management Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: accounting, consulting, or public accounting 3+ years of management experience Desired Qualifications A BS/BA degree or higher Big four public accounting experience Financial services industry experience Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment Ability to motivate groups and to quickly gain the trust/confidence of executive leaders Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications Knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, and SEC Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Strong strategic planning skills Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams Knowledge and understanding of Basel III reporting Other Desired Qualifications Possess subject matter expertise at mastery level in one or more component of the G&O Framework and general knowledge of all G&O components Street Address NC-Charlotte: 11625 N Community House Road - Charlotte, NC MN-Minneapolis: 550 South 4th St - Minneapolis, MN Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
