Job Description
Summary of Position:
The General Manager will direct and coordinates the entire operation in the restaurant, like driving sales, promotions, purchasing, coordinating service and bar operations. General Manager is in charge of each of these divisions with the leader of each department.
This position will be responsible for data entry, managing system info, accounts receivable, managing petty cash and deposits, profit and loss analysis, payroll, daily reports of restaurant, hire employees for all department, managing the organizations HR, managing all leaders and employees of the company, serve guests along with waiter staff, communicate with customer during the business hours, making them feel welcoming and comfortable in the restaurant, managing inventory and purchases orders, managing maintenance as required, create an excellent organizational climate and other miscellaneous tasks.
Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations goals support management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the restaurant, through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between all leaders departments
Manage information in the sys system keeping it up to date with current information
Play a significant interest in long term planning, including an initiative toward operational excellence.
Oversee all department, managing and planning systems and controls.
Report daily all operations procedures realized on daily basis
Manage accounts receivable, checking sales and make deposits on daily basis
Payroll management, reporting data and information every week
Disbursement of petty cash for payments
Write check as needed to suppliers
Organization of fiscal documents
File all paperwork relative to Human Resources, hiring and firing processes
Regular meetings with all leaders about operations planning
Supervise and manage all leaders on a weekly basis
Drive initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to seek excellence.
Contribute to short and long term organizational planning and strategy as a General Manager
Oversee organizational policies and core values
Managing employees of all department, always seeking excellence in each department
Look for and hire new employees as needed
Manage comments cards process and follow instructions to reach customer
Send birthday card for employee and organize monthly celebration
Manage inventory on daily basis and inventory count on first day of every month
Manage supplies accounts and always seek for a better opportunity and alternative
Place orders according with companys police seeking quality and excellence in all aspects
Keep maintenance on time as required and as needed according with companys policy
Oversee all departments in connection with leaders looking for one of a kind experience for our customers
Take the necessary precautions to be in accordance with all state laws, health and safety standards
Report to work in uniform, following Chima standards of appearance.
Adhere to policies and procedures according to Chima training and standards.
Report to work on scheduled days and at scheduled times.
Carry out all reasonable requests by Corporate, which the associate is capable of performing.
Understand and perform Chima standards of empowerment to ensure total company satisfaction.
Work during business hours in the dinning room with waiter staff to serve customers in a daily basis
Direct other people to achieve their goals and must be able to delegate responsibility.
