Role Value Proposition:
The Senior Business Analyst is part of the Global Workforce Analytics team within the Human Resources organization. The Senior Business Analyst must be able to approach systems and platforms from both a technical and user perspective and have the ability to translate user needs into technical requirements. This positon requires a natural curiosity and eagerness to assume responsibility. This position will require knowledge in data management and data visualization as well as the ability to lead project teams, project management, and handle multiple assignments and establish priorities. This person must have strong relationship management skills and be able to effectively communicate and influence team members, GHRIS, HR IT, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, HR functional areas and clients directly in the business. This position reports directly to the Director, Global Workforce Analytics.
:Manage the full suite of analytics tools to drive towards the future state of HR reporting including:
:in:depth understanding of the data model and analytics tools to ensure reporting objectives are met and data is transformed into useful business intelligence;
:management of analytics tools including requirement gathering, system documentation, and on:going system maintenance to support a positive user experience;
:responsible for engaging key partners in GHRIS, IT, HRSS, HR Prod Ops to resolve data quality and system performance issues;
:involvement in system re:platforming project including UAT testing efforts.
:Manage dashboard creation and maintenance.
:Manage report queries inventory in reporting tool.
:Conduct user training and troubleshooting as needed.
:Ensure the team will meet reporting responsibilities by leveraging the use of self:service and robotics.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
:Proficiency in HR analytics tools including Oracle Business Intelligence, Data Visualization Desktop, Oracle Cloud Applications, OBI, OTBI/BI:Publisher, BiPaaS and other data visualization tools.
:Strong problem solving, critical thinking and project management skills.
:Exercises sound judgment.
:Relationship:building and collaboration skills are essential.
:Detail:oriented and strives for continuous process improvement.
:Willingness to assume responsibility and demonstrate initiative.
:Excellent oral and written communication skills including communication with non:technical audiences.
:Highly ethical, mature and confidential in dealing with sensitive information.
:Strong analytical skills and ability to structure data effectively.
:Understanding of HR principles, techniques and procedures as well as how HR supports business implications.
:8+ years of relevant experience (Workforce Analytics backgrounds will be given preference).
:Technical competency in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization products.
:Bachelors degree in a quantitative or technology discipline is highly preferred; Masters degree is desired.
:Human Resources experience a plus.
