Job Description:/h3:
Full service Commercial Real Estate firm headquartered in Cornelius NC. seeking a part time Assistant Property Manager, to serve as primary support to the Real Estate Management Staff encompassing numerous administrative, accounting, facilities and leasing tasks. The ideal candidate shall be a self:starting, detail oriented, and energetic individual with the ability to move into a full time position, within 3 to 6 months.
POSITION OVERVIEW
:
Responsibilities for this position will include serving as primary support to Real Estate Management Staff encompassing numerous administrative, accounting, facilities and leasing support tasks
:
The current allotted hours for the position is approximately 16 per week
:
The goal for the position is for it to grow into a full time position, in the next 3 to 6 months
:
Position start date: ASAP
JOB DUTIES
:
Creating and maintaining tenant files
:
Creating and maintaining vendor files
:
Creating and maintaining building maintenance files
:
Assist with periodic owner reporting; (accounting, lease admin, facilities and leasing)
:
Assist with annual budget production
:
Assist with approving and coding invoices
:
Assist with property accounting
:
Assist with tenant lease and association bylaws administration
:
Assist with property inspections and photo correspondences
:
Assist with creating and maintaining network digital files
:
Assist office staff while managers are traveling
:
Assist with setup and transferring property files for new or exit projects
:
Accompany management to client and association meetings
:
Respond to after hour calls
:
Assist with marketing and advertising the company services
:
Maintain positive communications with Owners, Tenants, and Vendors
REQUIRED SKILLS
:
Must possess positive interpersonal skills
:
Minimum Associates degree or two years college experience preferred
:
Familiarity to commercial real estate industry
:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
:
Familiarity to property management software programs
:
Reading Comprehension: understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work x2010;related documents
:
Writing: effective written communication summarizing, as appropriate, the needs of the audience
:
Critical thinking: using logic and reasoning to identify discrepancies and recognize strengths and weaknesses in recommending alternative solutions
:
Time management: efficient managing of ones own time and the time of others
:
Coordination: adjusting actions in relation to others actions
:
Valid drivers license
:
Reliable transportation
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
:
Ability to drive to property locations
:
Ability to inspect properties on sometimes rough terrain
:
Ability to climb ladders and unafraid of heights
