Brady and Kosofsky, a cutting edge, TILA RESPA INTEGRATED DISCLOSURE READY Law Firm in Matthews North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Closing Attorneys in the Residential Purchase and REO practice areas to assist in further developing our growing practice area in our Matthews, North Carolina Office. Brady and Kosofsky, is an industry leader in Compliance, TILA RESPA Reform and Integration and is one of the few Closing Attorneys in the State of North Carolina to have fully adopted and integrated the American Land Title Association Best Practices and attained a SOC2 SSAE 16 Security Status. This candidate will undergo rigorous training to gain a working knowledge of the new TILA RESPA INTEGRATED DISCLOSURE which is replacing the HUD:1 in August. We will provide all education necessary to operate under the RESPA, TILA, ECOA, and GRAMM LEACH BLILEY ACT. Qualified Candidates will have:
2+ years of prior residential closing experience is essential
Ability to manage the closing process in a fast paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills
Must have experience in and willingness to assist in marketing efforts
Portable book of business is desired, but not necessary
Knowledge of foreclosure laws in the State of North Carolina
Title review and analysis
Mortgage default background helpful
Energetic, personable, outgoing, self:starter needed for this position
Some travel required
Salary commensurate with experience level

On April 8, 2015 the firm became one of the only North Carolina Real Estate Closing firms to achieve SOC2 SSAE 16 Type Audit Certification. The firm focuses on three distinct areas of the industry:

Centralized Title Operations: Our Title Operations, produces title exams and title opinions for firm utilization within our Firm. We utilize in:house title searchers, as well as a panel of some of the most experienced searchers in the region. Embedded in our CTO, is the curative department which focuses on clearing title ranging from the simple to the most complex title defects.

Centralized Closing Operations (Refinance and Purchase) The firm created a new workflow which allows the firm to utilize its staff in concert with its technology and experience to meet the expectations of the new industry and compliance standards and compliance Our unique workflow and IT implementations allow our attorneys to provide services to our clients in a precise, proactive, innovative, secure work environment. We perform settlements and closing in person and using the newest e:closing technology available.

Special Disposition Operations (REO, Loss Mitigation, Component Services, Bulk Sales, Investor Transactions, auction support): In our SDO: our team of industry veterans represent and provide services to many of the industry leading lenders, servicers, special servicers, asset management companies in the REO, loss mitigation, investment and default industry.
