Hello! My name is Jordan and I am enrolling piano students who want to begin lessons immediately. I spent four years at Davidson College on music scholarship for piano, and have experience teaching children and adults. Currently I am pursuing a second degree in piano performance at UNC-Charlotte. My schedule is filling up quickly, so please contact me to secure a convenient lesson time. Tuition is $25 for a 30-minute lesson, and is collected at the beginning of the month. Longer lessons are available for more advanced and committed students. I do not charge registration fees. I believe that playing the piano well is not about talent, but about a positive attitude and applying effective practice techniques. Anyone can learn! Registration is now underway for private piano lessons which will meet once per week. Lessons are tailored individually for students of all ages and can accomodate beginners to advanced students as well as college Music Majors who are looking for additional coaching or a Master Class setting to augment their current private sessions.
With 20 years experience as a private teacher to beginner through advanced students, an international reputation as an active concert pianist, further teaching at the University level to undergraduate and graduate students in piano, all private sessions are led by a teacher uniquely qualified to direct students in their musical training at the piano. Despite the level of a student’s proficiency, all lessons are tailored to be enjoyable and engaging, are situated in very comfortable and beautiful surroundings and are of the highest quality to assure student progress and satisfaction. All lessons are taught in my home studio on my own Baldwin SF10 Artist Grand in South Charlotte by Ballantyne; they are either 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour in length - once per week - depending on your proficiency level and, given our current national economic situation, are extremely affordable and designed to accomodate most household budget constraints. Lesson fees are as follows: 30 minute session: $25/session 45 minute session: $45/session 60 minute session: $60/session Please feel free to make contact for further information, available lesson times or for me to answer any questions you may have. I am seeking voice and piano students for the Summer and Fall at my private studio in Belmont, NC. I am most interested in signing up home school students in the area during the day but I have other openings for students of all ages as well. I am a professional soprano vocalist and piano accompanist in the community for weddings, sports teams, and studio recordings. I have served as a local judge for choral and vocal competitions. I am a music educator with a music degree with 14 years experience in public, private, and church settings.
